Dapple – Safe for my Kids’ Mess

I have 3 children in the house so it is very important to me that I keep things clean and prevent the spreading of germs. Naturally, I become picky when it comes to choosing of cleaning agents and detergent, especially when it comes to the kids’ bottles or clothes. I could use some toxic chemicals that supposedly claims to kill all the bacteria, but what have I accomplished? Who really knows all the side effects from those cleaning agents? It is a scary thought to say the least.

I was happy to be introduced to a US brand – Dapple and its range of products because they are made with non-toxic and plant-based ingredients. It is safe for me and the kids as they do not contain harmful chemicals.

I am reviewing 3 Dapple products in this blog post – Dapple Baby Bottle and Dish Liquid, Dapple Baby Laundry Detergent and an accompanying stain remover I have used together with its detergent – the Dapple Baby Stain Remover.

Dapple Baby Bottle and Dish Liquid

My 3 kids go to childcare and look at the number of  water bottles (three!) and milk bottles (two!) they come home with. I have to wash and clean – five in a day and that is 25 times of washing in a school week! That is no joke because it is a daily affair of struggling to fight against sleep deprivation and washing bottles late at night.

What I like: This dish liquid rinses quickly. You know how some dish liquid makes you rinse and rinse over again because it takes a longer time to get rid of its soapy feel? Not for Dapple Baby Bottle and Dish Liquid. It makes my job fast and all their 5 bottles come out squeaky clean.

Milk smells awful in the bottle once the toddlers are done. In their school, the teachers will help to rinse their milk bottles with water but of course this leaves a residue and a smell behind (which is really yucky by the way!) Dapple Baby Bottle and Dish Liquid has an award-winning green technology targets milk residue and uses baking soda to combat odour. Totally awesome!

I love that Dapple products are fragranced with essentials oils. I am using the Apricot at home and I used its travel size in Lavender for our recent holiday trip to Club Med Bintan. You can really smell the lavender. These come in 4 fragrances and 1 with fragrance-free, a lot of options there!

My sink top looking like this at the moment. The minion is not always there though.

Dapple Baby Stain Remover Spray

Going on to laundry. My toddlers still eat like a mess. They love to experiment and play with their food, even after they have much developed the motor skills they need to eat without mess. On the other hand, their night diapers are sometimes “overused” so pee got leaky onto their pants. So guess what I’m always dealing with – stained clothes from pasta sauce and pee stains on pajamas.

What I like: It has been fantastic at removing the stains from my kids’ clothing. For tough and set-in stains, I will rinse the clothing, spray it and let it sit for while. Spray again and then throw it into the wash together with its detergent. No harsh smell and no discolouration.

Jonas is considered quite a neat eater. You wouldn’t want to see Jordan’s bowl.

Dapple Baby Laundry Detergent

My go-to detergent for their wash – Dapple Baby Laundry detergent’s baby-safe formula is hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and contains no colour brighteners or fabric softeners. Dapple Fragrance-Free Baby Laundry Detergent also works wonders on spit-up stains and all other baby messes. If the stains are too tough, I will use the stain remover spray in conjunction with this detergent. Works well for me!

What I like: It is hypoallergenic. If you ask me what’s this before I have kids, I probably have no idea. This means the detergent is relatively unlikely to cause an allergic reaction on our kids – which is important because Jordan has a little sensitive skin. A little of harsh chemicals or a kiss from bugs make his skin go red and itchy.

This detergent comes with 2x concentrated formula and is suitable for cloth diapers. Okay, where is this while I was using cloth diapers? Would highly recommend this to my cloth diapers mama friends!

My motto: Laundry today or naked tomorrow

We tried our hands on other Dapple products. They are great for my other mess of colour pencil markings, chocolate stains on sofas, gunk on faces and every other toddlers’ mess you can think of! So, what’s your mess? Don’t be afraid of letting your little one make a little mess when you have Dapple tucked away ready to use.

The packing of their products caught my attention as it really stands out from the rest. I want to get my hands on that Pure N Clean Everything in lavender scent to try.

We were blessed with some Dapple products to use and I LOVE them so much too! You should try the bottle and dishes cleaner on cleaning the children’s mats too. It was super effective at removing stubborn stains as well <3
