Personalise your Kids’ Essentials from Bright Star Kids

Now that my three boys are in childcare, they have a lot more things for me to keep track of. So I have to put in a lot more effort to sort out their stuff and making sure everything come home again. I don’t need to emphasize how many times I have received milk bottles belonging to another child or how many times a towel goes missing. Luckily for towels, I got them cheap from dollar shops!

I have been using customizable labels for some time so I am excited to try out name labels by Bright Star Kids. I ordered Essential Label Kit for each of the 3 boys, I figured this kit contains the basic labels that they need for school. It comes in a variety of 90 sticker labels in 3 sizes, customisable colours and cute icons to go with the names! Not only will the teachers know what items belong to the boys, but they will be able to recognise their own labels making classroom life easier for everyone.

Essential Label Kit – Big and Medium size stickers come with customisable icons :)

These labels are perfect for their school gear like water bottles and milk botltles. I love that these vinyl labels are dishwasher safe and washable, and their durability has been amazing thus far. The colour remains bright blue despite constant contact with soap and water. They’re designed with rounded edges that make them stay stuck without peeling for years. I feel assured that I am getting a quality product here!

You can see the comparison of my normal labels vs Bright Star Kids labels in the photo below. Normal labels, unfortunately, cannot withstand the dishwasher, it flakes off and collects mold, argh. I use the tiny labels on Jaden’s stationery like the pencils specially bought for his home drawing sessions and his water colour paint box. I think it would be great to label the twins’ markers and crayons soon…!

Label everything. And anything!

Bright Star Kids has plenty of other fun customisable products too – from labels for shoes to iron-on clothing labels for use on all types of fabrics. I am loving their wall decal stickers which are removable and non-damaging to paint. Hoping to do a makeover for the boys’ boring rooms so these decals are definitely going into my KIV list!

Things I’ve bagged in my cart, other than the labels, are personalised lunch boxes and a personalised JUMBO SANTA SACK! I must be a little crazy to start a hobby to collect lunch boxes because cupboard space is scarce, but once I started with some boxes from Japan, I couldn’t stop :) And you know how I have to have 3 of everything, because the boys WILL fight over their lunch boxes. I’ve posted up a video of Jaden with his own box on Instagram :)

As for the Jumbo Santa Sack, it has always been my wish to surprise the kids on the morning of Christmas Day. This year, I can leave their presents in this lovely sack!

The twin’s lunch boxes. I love them because they are big and deep enough to hold apples and packet drinks!

I love those personalized lunch boxes! Actually, anything personalized makes it 10 times better. =P And yes, I so understand the woes of getting other kids’ stuffs in my kids’ bags, and not ever seeing their items again cos’ forgot to label. Adorable and durable sticker labels are must-haves for every parent, I say! =D

Lovely, no one will ever misplaced or use the wrong cutlery anymore :)
Hopefully, it will encourage kids to “keep” their own mugs too.

    cheers, Andy

Loved the designs of these stickers. So easy to classify stuff with this! Reminded me of something similar I tried last year.

These are seriously good labels. We are still using them and they really do last. Seriously helps to keep things in place especially since the kids go to child care etc…
